Celestino C. Neninger, MD, Board Certified Anesthesiologist, and Pain Management Specialist, is a Co-Founder and Vice President of Gables Pain Associates, LLC, located in Coral Gables, Florida. The practice specializes in Traditional Pain Medicine and Regenerative Medicine.

 

Dr. Neninger has over 18 years of experience as a practitioner of General Anesthesia, Acute Pain Management, and Chronic Pain Management. He started his medical career graduating with honors as a student from the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences in Havana, Cuba, in 1987, after which he spent two years in Guinea Bissau, Africa, volunteering as a doctor, and helped establish the first medical school in the country. Upon returning to Cuba, he finished his residency in General Surgery in 1991 and later became an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Calixto Garcia Hospital in Havana, Cuba.

 

In 1994, Dr. Neninger moved to the United States, and upon passing the United States Medical License Examination (USMLE), he obtained the title of Medical Doctor. In 1997, he started his residency in the Anesthesiology Program at the University of South Florida, graduating in 2001. In 2002 he achieved Board Certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology. In 2016, Dr. Neninger subsequently obtained Interventional Pain Management with AAOPM Board Certification and, in partnership with Dr. John Serpa, MD, founded Gables Pain Associates, LLC, in Coral Gables. 

Dr. Neninger is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of service and outcomes in the Miami-Dade area and continually seeks to improve his arsenal of procedures and services to fight chronic pain. He has trained in the most advanced Regenerative Medicine in Stem Cells technology, Platelets Rich Plasma (PRP), Alpha 2 microglobulin, and amniotic fluids (among others) as a fellow at the renowned Boston Biolife Academy for Regenerative Medicine.
